MARTI TORRES

Marti is a Sports Manager with 10+ years of experience in the sector. He's a dynamic and innovative person with an extensive worldwide network due to his life experiences living in more than five different countries. He's worked for football clubs, professional athletes camps, schools, sports events, etc. As an entrepreneur, he has developed various projects before putting all his efforts into this new and exciting one!

All to help develop the local sports sector and bring better opportunities for the young generations while assisting international companies in establishing in the region.

He loves to play all kinds of sports, cook, travel, and spend time with children.

FOUNDER & CEO

MAURICE MBOWO

Founder and Director of Express Soccer Academy is a KNVB-trained coach, too, having handled the academy players from its inception over nine years ago. Under his leadership, ESA has become one of the top academies in Kenya, with over 150 players. Maurice has led the academy to participate in local, regional, and international tournaments, creating a wider pool of partnerships over the years. Under Maurice's guidance, Express Soccer Academy has also created and managed the Raising Stars Junior League, the biggest youth league in Nairobi.

Maurice believes in using sports as a powerful tool for social transformation and support for the vulnerable by giving them opportunities to discover and fulfill their potential.

FESTUS OTIENO

Festus Otieno has a passion and a broader experience in the Kenyan Football Industry by having worked at FC Barcelona Academy East Africa and founded his own Community Project, "Rodney Foundation," with the primary goal of developing football players and individuals from Mathare, Nairobi and allow them to study and play football at the same level.

His passion and vision for youth athletes' development and expertise in Coaching, Scouting, and Football operations make him the perfect profile to achieve the company's goals and mission.  

MATINS EBUKA

TALENT IDENTIFICATION & DEVELOPMENT AND SCOUTING DIRECTOR

Matins Ebuka is a highly accomplished professional footballer with a wealth of experience. He holds a UEFA C License qualification, which has helped him to develop a deep understanding of the game and hone his skills as a player. As an ambassador of the TFA inspired by Cruyff Football Methodology in both Nigeria and Sweden, Matins is passionate about promoting the principles of this innovative approach to football training. Furthermore, his double citizenship has given him a unique perspective on the sport, and he is committed to using his knowledge and experience to help others achieve their goals. And as the founder and CEO of Msportlinkafrica, he is also dedicated to empowering aspiring footballers across the continent and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.

Matins is in charge of the New Hera Scouting and Talent Identification System and the eyes of the company in African Football. As the first African Coach to hold the Cruyff Football Level 1 and 2, he is also crucial in developing African Coaches and implementing Cruyff Methodology in the countries where the Company work. 

MARC ROIG

ATHLETICS, CYCLING & MOTOR SPORTS DIRECTOR

Marc is an athlete, a physiotherapist and a coach. But, above all, he is a person in love with athletics and sports. I was born in Sant Pol de Mar (Barcelona, Spain), but very soon, I was known as a globetrotter. I did my bachelor's in physiotherapy in Madrid and an internship in Amsterdam (where I also debuted in the marathon, finishing in 2h27). In 2009 I travelled for the first time to Kenya, and I fell in love with the country and the person who became my wife. While in the U-23 category, I was 7th in Europe in 10.000 and 4th at the World Duathlon Championships. I haven't achieved similar results as a senior but shined as a pacemaker. On two occasions, I have paced Florence Kiplagat to break the World Record of a half marathon. Fast forward to 2015, I became Kenenisa Bekele's physio in Ethiopia, and since 2016, Eldoret (Kenya) has been home. I am still running and have been a member of the NN Running Team since its foundation in 2017. Since 2019, I am also the race organizer (the person in charge of inviting the top athletes) for the Valencia Half Marathon and the Valencia Marathon.

Marc's mission with New Hera Intersports is to build bridges between the African and International market and bring top international events to African countries.
